Position Summary:1ADM is a business project focusing on improving processes, data and systems.
The Process Designer, 1ADM Finance, supports the design and implementation of the global operating model and business processes in one or more area within Finance.
This may include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Job Cost, Product Cost, Tax, and/or Treasury processes.
Responsibilities include working closely with global Finance colleagues to ensure appropriate business requirements and controls are incorporated into the design, and the end-to-end processes are standardized in order to help the Company execute its business strategies, improve productivity and provide improved access to information. Job Responsibilities: Document global finance processes and operating model based on input from functional business areasFacilitate workshops where leading practice business processes are reviewed and discussed
Assist with the identification and documentation of business requirements, data definitions and flows between legacy processes and systems and newly defined global processesWork with Global Process Owners, Process Advisory Groups and Business Process Leads to remediate gaps between regional business process and reporting requirements and global designSupport the creation of functional designs, test scripts and end user training contentAssist with the design of organization structure and related configuration of JD Edwards for each go-liveAssist with the design of financial reports and related testingAssist with the mapping of legacy system data to JD Edwards and support conversion activitiesOther related duties or special projects as assigned Job Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or FinanceIn-depth knowledge of finance processesStrong information gathering and analytical skills with ability to build a network of business contactsComprehension of dimensionality and an understanding of external & internal financial reporting requirementsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work on a diversified / global team that includes cross-divisional internal resources as well as external resourcesA balanced mix of skills ? driver, facilitator and doerAbility to work under time constraints and meet project deadlinesGood understanding of the applications that support finance processes and functions.
