Position SummaryThe 1ADM SMCS Designer is responsible for process design, strategy, implementation and overall success within the Sales, Marketing & Customer Service (SMCS) process area.
This position will work with the 1ADM SMCS Lead and program management to ensure alignment with strategy and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of business knowledge regarding Sales, Marketing & Customer Service.Job Responsibilities: Identify key processes that enable the success of the respective area of responsibilityLead and develop processes for global standardization of department activities related to implementation Communicate across the company, integrating and liaising activities in multiple departments, including IT, Credit, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, Processing and 1ADM teamWork with program to develop and oversee training of all user groupsWork with business teams as SME for related systems and processes.
Such as: Contracts, Order to Cash, Customer Service activitiesProvide oversight, direction and leadership for identified process improvements Promote standardization across the respective area, supporting the adoption of industry best practicesDevelop and support the business case associated with the key processes within their area of responsibilityWork with team to develop improvement projects and ensure successful implementationsLead prioritization efforts to ensure appropriate process opportunities are staffed and focused on properlyWork with other process areas to identify integration opportunities Job Requirements: Related business degree or equivalent job experience requiredKnowledge and experience in multiple businesses preferred5+ years of experience at ADM in related functionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills are a mustAct as a leader within program team and ability to work with all levels of leadership on a global cross functional teamAbility to work on a diversified / global team that includes cross-divisional internal resources as well as external resourcesManage multiple projects/tasks with minimal direction and supervisionAbility to work under time constraints and meet deadlinesSome travel (domestic and/or international) may be required Relocation assistance is available with this position.
