5626 Grain Equipment Territory Sales Manager
Growing and expanding grain handling equipment company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to expand sales focused primarily in Illinois for a very high quality product line.The successful candidate will use strategic planning, relationship building, grain handling equipment knowledge, and excellent people skills to meet and develop partnerships with clients who are in the grain storage and handling, processing, importing and / or exporting business.Responsibilities will include working from your home office and strategically planning your calls and subsequent trips to go out and meet with clients. ?You will work closely with the company's home office to get quotes out,?confirm sales, stay in contact with contractors, and follow through on projects all the way through to completion.The ideal person will be driven but sensitive to the fact you won't win every sale; you must be willing to go back to the well to get equipment out in the market.Candidates must have first-hand knowledge of grain handling equipment from having worked in and around grain elevators, processors, import / export houses, or other grain handling facilities. ?From having worked with and on grain handling equipment, you will be able to go on-site and help coach customers through the decision making process on just what equipment they need to most efficiently meet their needs.This opportunity offers you flexibility on where you live. ?Preference will be for candidates who live in or near Illinois. ?Some overnight travel to more distant clients and trade shows will be expected. ?Much flexibility is offered in scheduling your time.Compensation will be a generous base plus incentive commissions and good benefits with the opportunity to be at $100,000 income or better by year two, three or four depending on how fast the successful candidate gets out of the gate.If you are qualified and desire to use your grain handling expertise to help others make their facilities more efficient and profitable, contact Dave Allen.?Contact us with your cover letter, resume, and references using the ?Apply To This Position? button.For a complete listing of our open jobs, visit our website:? www.agri-search.com.?
