5643 Grain Marketing Advisor
DESCRIPTION A well-respected agribusiness with a large footprint in Iowa is seeking a highly motivated sales-oriented professional to provide leadership for grain origination programs around a segment of their grain assets in northern Iowa. This role will coordinate, implement and maintain effective origination programs for their customer members in collaboration with the merchandising team, area and location managers. This is a position for the results-oriented sales individual that enjoys utilizing individual creativity to solve problems, communicate effectively and achieve measurable objectives on a daily, weekly and annual basis. The person in this role must have a good understanding of the grain markets in order to meet customer needs, monitor competitive markets and market flows and identify growth opportunities. They will be expected to work cohesively with other segments of the business to identify opportunities to grow market share. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate and present in one-on-one and group meetings for the benefit of employees and customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor s degree with 2+ years of ag sales experience and a basic understanding of grain marketing concepts. Candidates must have their NFA Series III license or willing to complete this requirement within the first 6 months.
