The new global business unit will fully concentrate on the pigments business and thus be even more focused on supporting the needs of our pigments customers. Our customers will benefit from tailored services and higher responsiveness. BASF?s pigments business serves a variety of industries including paints & coatings, printing & packaging and plastics. The portfolio comprises of color pigments such as phthalocyanines, high performance pigments, azo pigments, effect pigments, inorganic pigments and dyes. We are building the best team in the industry to support the need of our customers in our chosen markets. Formula for Success  Leveraging your education background in Business Management or Science and your professional experience in sales, preferably with multi-national account management experience, you will manage strategically significant accounts; develop positive and sustainable working relationships to understand customer?s true needs and dynamics. With your strong knowledge of the coating industry, preferably with experience in pigments sales, application or development, you will take full ownership of customer growth opportunity pipeline and drive identification, pursuit and closure of growth opportunities to achieve business targetsYour strong business acumen, problem solving capabilities, and work ethic are key, as you will be responsible for financial performance to achieve agreed-on targets regarding net sales, contribution margin, and fixed costs. Must be goal-orientedUtilizing your entrepreneurial mindset, you will be responsible for daily sales operation and as key contact point to interfaces to other functions to tackle operation risks and ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will interact and cooperate with internal team including industry management team, technical service and/or global key account manager to ensure related industry/portfolio/GKA strategy be implemented Strong and open communication and analytical skill are the key to success.
