A top seed organization is seeking a Seed Account Manager to manage a group of key dealers, and continue success with added corn and soybean sales success throughout this seed sales territory in Northwestern Iowa. This seed company is recognized for their leading package of corn hybrids, soybean, and alfalfa product lines for this region, and they are seeking a candidate who is ready to take the next step in their career by working with a top ag retailer and expanding dealer network to enable the growth of their seed sales throughout the market. Expectations for the position include: ? Attract and recruit a successful seed sales network ? Work directly with key growers in the market to enhance brand recognition ? Educate retail sellers and give them the tools for success ? Assist in growing sales with ride-alongs and coaching ? Work with the sales team to develop the best programs and marketing strategies ? A desire to make a difference for the customer, and as a result, the company ? The candidate must have a passion for selling seed and industry leading technology ? Demonstrate strong leadership abilities as well as the ability to work in a team environment ? Able to plan their day and execute the plan based on good business management skills
A qualified candidate would ideally come from: ? Other seed company DSMs ? Retail Agronomists that are ready to focus on seed and take the next step in their career
