Learn more at www.adm.com. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing interim and year-end financial statements for assigned joint venture and/or country elevator accounts.
Includes extensive travel to call on accounts and to work on site.
Emphasis on computerized accountingResponsible for monitoring credit compliance with respect to assigned country elevator financed accounts.
Includes annual credit review and credit recommendationsPromote customer loyalty by developing strong relationships and business rapport with elevator directors, managers and their employeesAssist elevator managers with problems that arise which may include recommendations for day-to-day business operations, accounting or marketing questions, capital projects, personnel changes/hiring, shipment problems, etc.Promote new business where country services can be used to enhance grain originationAttend annual meetings of board of directors/stockholders as required.
This may also include giving presentations and speaking engagements at customer annual meetings.
Attend board meetings, if required and when requested, by elevator managers for input on problems, strategic planning, etc.Job Requirements:To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:Bachelor's degree with major emphasis in accounting and/or agricultural economics.
Previous accounting experience of 1 – 5 years preferred.
Farming/merchandising/grain background a definite plus.
