Account Representative – Refined Fuels
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Refined Fuels Operations department. We are looking for an entry-level Account Representative to partner with Senior Account Managers to gain supply and marketing knowledge and gain regulatory and product knowledge.
You must have strong problem solving skills and be detail oriented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will:Focus on sales targets, new business development, maintaining and growing customer relationships, conduct outbound sales calls and manage the basics of the Refined Fuels business.Sell and assist in managing a small book of business for Refined Fuels.Partner with Refined Fuels wholesalers, member branded cooperatives, independent branded distributors and unbranded customers.Help market and sell wholesale refined fuels and value added programs & services.Assist in the growth of the railcar business by making rail car sales calls and rail scheduling.
Contact prospective new customers, qualifying leads for sales team.
Provide customer service for contracting, credit, customer set-up, transportation, and Refined Fuels Control Room.Communicate with supply, marketing and transportation ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.Partner with other sales team members and supervisors to achieve Energy sales goals by attending conventions, trade shows, customer update meetings and more.Assist the Refined Fuels Account Managers with their customers as needed.Up to 10% travelMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s degreePreferred Qualifications: (preferred)Up to 5 years of sales experience.
Experience to include:Giving presentations, utilizing persuasive negotiation skills, customer service, conflict resolution, and working independentlyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be able to work extended hours during peak demand periods and travel for business as needed.Previous Energy, Logistics and/or Energy Sales experience.JD Edwards experience
