Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed the Future, and grow your career while earning a competitive salary and great benefits.Reporting to the Manager of Operational Taxes, the Accountant's primary responsibilities include sales and property tax accounting.What you will do:Ensure property tax bills are paid timely.Prepare limited property tax renditions.Enter property tax assessment notices into system. Coordinate with leadership pertaining to appeals.Renew existing business licenses requiring flat fees or no fees.Prepare assigned sales and use tax returns per established tax calendar.Research tax regulations for sales and use tax.Assist with gathering information for state/local audits.Provide signed copies of W9’s to requestors.Compile tax rate changes as needed.Accounting reconciliations as needed.What you will bring:Strong Microsoft Office skills, Excel proficiency requiredStrong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral and listening)Strong customer service attitudeMature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and take on new challengesAdaptability and flexibilityBachelor's degree in Accounting, or Associates Degree combined with equivalent experienceSales and property tax experience, two years desirableAre you a good match?
