We communicate this position in commonly used terms only for a better understanding of the talents desired.Job DescriptionThe Mission and PositionThis colleague s Mission will be to process the full cycle of accounting duties in a timely and efficient manner for activities relating to our Agriculture Services and Farming Entities. Duties will include, however not limited to the invoicing of growers, as well as reviewing monthly expenses and revenue reports for accuracy.This position is located in our Woodland office.Specific Responsibilities and Activities:Accounts Payable: Process InvoicesOversee issuance of 1099 s and ensure mailed accurately by January 31st.Accounts Receivable:
- Accurately invoice growers for seed, transplant and transplanting services in a timely manner.Prepare interest calculations and monthly statements.Proactively review and resolve AR discrepancies. Prepare Bank Deposits and manage banking needs.Monitor cash requirements.Maintain fixed asset register and book depreciation expense.Audit/review of GL of accuracy of coding and correct discrepancies.Populate and review monthly Cashflow statements to be submitted to Operations colleagues.Audit monthly revenue against operational reports and forecasts.Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, and ability to perform as a team player.QualificationsThe successful candidate will be one that is open to learning, takes initiative and is capable of and interested in expanding their role to involve other accounting related functions.
