PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Performs customer billing and reconciliation of consignment inventory for all refined fuel and propane products at consignment locations as assigned. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for processing consignment fills, transfers and customer billing for product usage at consignment inventory locations with appropriate motor fuel taxes applied based on Energy Decision Center (EDC) detail. Responsible for reconciliation of consignment inventory detail to the general ledger for all fuel related transactions to insure that all sales are billed accurately. Reviews inventory worksheets and prepares reconciliations to the general ledger by consignment inventory locations. Prepares various reports using Business Objects software and microcomputer software. Communicates with personnel in Energy Division and Energy Accounting as needed to coordinate activities, report results of analysis and resolve problems. Reviews carrier load documents or other source documents for accuracy of data. Enters data from source documents into SAP to initiate customer billings. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assists in reconciliation of Sales Order and Purchase Order detail for fuel related transactions including motor fuel taxes. Assists fuel processors with corrections as needed. Follows GROWMARK s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires an associate s degree in accounting, or sufficient course work or equivalent there of, and two years or more of related experience.. Demonstrates math and accounting skills and the ability to work with complex accounting reconciliations and various analytical reports. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver s license and satisfactory driving record. Understanding and experience with general ledger, account reconciliation, inventory and accounting systems testing, controls, and implementation, technical support, and other control functions along with analysis and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others. Proven professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions prioritize work, and deal with deadlines. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proven computer skills in using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and the ability to learn software tools for business and accounting processes and how processes relate to the database. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality. Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
