GROWMARK is large enough to offer solid career opportunities, but small enough to provide a family-oriented, welcoming environment and great benefits.See what it's like to work at GROWMARK:??https://youtu.be/IsXYA-oaFYo??PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Responsible for knowing, understanding, testing and maintaining supported applications to provide knowledge and support to customers for these applications and to assure applications are error free and work as specified.??ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Maintains current knowledge and understanding of applications, communications software and hardware, to assist customers in resolving problems and answer questions with minimal supervision. Interprets customer problems over the phone and responds with solutions.May coordinate with Systems Development for development, enhancements or changes to supported applications.Maintains various databases for testing and support purposes, including controlling backups and restores to these databases.Provides formal training in assigned areas to users of supported software through group presentations and/or use of remote teaching technologies.Coordinates with other GROWMARK departments and divisions, or Outside Technical Contractors in working on problems and daily operations.Performs database inquiries and audits to verify system integrity and to identify problems.Makes corrections and changes to customer data to resolve database problems under direct supervision of Supervisor, IMS Support, following standard procedures and providing audit trail.?Records all calls in the call tracking system to be used for future inquiries and quarterly billings.?Assists in the maintenance of manuals and help screens for IMS applications. Distributes help screens concurrent with program updates.?Assists in testing and installation of new versions of IMS Applications or other supported software.?Maintains control logs, customer files, and job specific procedures manuals for IMS applications.?Assist with IMS billing and tracking of software license agreements.??OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Assists with the on-site training of customers as required by IMS.Transports and installs computer hardware, software, and video display equipment for meetings.Participates in customer meetings and trade shows on request.Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.Performs all other duties as assigned.??REQUIREMENTSNormally requires an Associate?s Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business or the equivalent thereof, and 1 year or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of supported applications.?Working knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.?Prefer knowledge of IMS computer applications and Windows operating systems.?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.?Understanding and experience with computer services-related areas including computer software application technical support, testing, integration, accounting principles and processes, database management, and training; policies and procedures, and compliance.?Proven professional communication, interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills.?Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills and the ability to read and interpret technical material.?Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.??Ability to work hours that extend beyond normal business hours.?Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight for on-site training that may on occasion include a temporary assignment at a customer's office.?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
