CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Grain Marketing Division. We are looking for a Grain Accounting Supervisor to lead and mentor the accounting staff.

You must be a self-starter with multi-tasking proficiency and have the ability to make independent decisions. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will:Manage, lead, mentor, motivate and coordinate staff.Research, analyze and develop improved existing and/or new technological changes and advancement.Work closely with Merchandisers, Procurement, Corporate, Management staff and customers.Collaborate to ensure successful business processes and procedures are in place and followed to meet established business objectives.Interview, hire, evaluate and manage direct reports. Provide feedback and coach for success.Ensure compliance of policies, procedures, regulations and department goals are attained.Maintain a comprehensive employee training program.Interface with IT staff to resolve systems issues and work to develop and enhance systems for a changing business environment.Review SOX/Trade rules and recommend updates in order to maintain internal control policies and procedures.Lead process improvements to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of the accounting area.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting5 years of experience in grain accounting and grain accounting systemsKnowledge of US GAAPProficient with Microsoft Office, ExcelPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Experience as an Accounting Lead or SupervisorCMIS, AS 400 JDE and GL Insight experience
