Culture at Nutrien is the core of everything we do and all employees are respectful of diverse opinions and views.Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Representative II will be responsible for reconciliation, research and resolution on vendor statements for all entities. Responsibilities include regular reconciliation of vendor statements and ancillary duties.Key Tasks:Utilizing vendor statements of accounts, reconcile activity to ensure that all invoices, credit memos and payments are accurately recorded and accounted for in a timely manner. Will include review of current items on open Accounts Payable aging as well as items on unmatched receiver report.Prepare journal vouchers to correct account entry Prepare weekly cash forecast and related reporting to TreasuryCoordinate with various stakeholders including on shore and off shore Accounts Payable, Operations, Finance, and Supplier representativesAny other job responsibilities as required at the Company’s discretionSkills:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, specifically procurement and accounts payable process workflow. Strict attention to detail, developed problem solving skills, logical & critical thinking skills, high personal accountability Experience and/or comfort with computer systems and quality assurance processesSelf-motivated. Ability to manage own time to achieve deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in high pressure environment with competing deadlines Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). PeopleSoft / large ERP experience a plus. Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED requiredAssociate’s degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred2-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable requiredNutrien is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
