We currently have an Accounts Payable Supervisor position available at Simplot Headquarters in Boise, ID. SUMMARYUnder limited supervision, organizes, directs and supervises department resources and activities of the AP departments. The AP supervisor is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable including invoice processing, invoice exception resolution, payment generation, etc. Interacts with individuals at all levels of the organization effectively and diplomatically, providing professional and courteous customer service and ensuring timely follow up occurs. RESPONSIBILITIESCultivates productive customer interactions and responds to unexpected customer requests with sense of urgency and positive action.Establishes, maintains and supports relationships with external and internal customers to ensure effective completion of assigned responsibilities. Takes responsibility for service level failures, instills a proactive customer service perspective in the team and ensures timely response and follow up to customer inquiries.Sets, communicates and enforces clear expectations for team performance, productivity and interpersonal interactions.Works with staff to define and achieve group and individual goals in support of department, Enterprise Services and JRS objectives.Measures, monitors and responds to targeted performance and productivity metrics. Coaches, counsels, evaluates and provides constructive feedback to team members to achieve desired performance and development outcomes while maintaining productive working relationships.Models professional workplace attitudes and behaviors that contribute to a positive workplace climate and promotes open communication and trust within the work group.Continually seeks out and pursues opportunities to enhance process effectiveness and efficiencies.Supervises, plans, organizes and directs assigned work, employee activities and productive team interactions.
