The North America Supply Chain Organization at Monsanto is seeking 2 highly motivated individual to join the Mason City and Stonington Soybean Seed Production facility as an Administrative Assistant. This administrative assistant position will involve multiple facets of administrative support at our soybean seed production facility located in Mason City, IL. You will work with both external and internal associates at all levels within the organization. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position. The position requires teamwork and the ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships. As an administrative assistant, you should have the ability to perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks with minimal supervision, including: Greeting visitors, including a brief site safety orientation, answering inbound phone calls, weighing and directing inbound and outbound truck trafficGeneral administrative duties such as tracking and ordering office suppliesResponsibility for grower accounting functions, including preparation of seed grower contracts, entry of grower pricings, grower pricing support, grower contract settlements, inbound freight payment generation and elevator marketing settlementsManaging the procurement process including coding/generation of payments, tracking and filing of invoices, employee expense report and payroll entryResponsibility for distribution functions, including working with St. Louis distribution, calling dealers, data entry and coordinating trucksInteraction with other location personnel and/or home office personnelActive involvement with site safety initiativesManagement of calendarsCoordination of meetings and travel arrangementsPlanning and coordinating team eventsSupporting the on-boarding process for new team membersTake on special projects/assignments as assigned by supervisor Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience:A high degree of organization with exceptional attention to detailsAccuracy and attention to detail when working with numbers, dates, and documentsProficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookHigh School Diploma Desired Skills/Experience:Associate???s DegreePrevious experience in an Administrative roleSAP experience is desirableA background in agriculture or general farm operations is preferredRelocation assistance is not available for this position.Apply for this job.
