Position Summary:ADM is seeking an administrative assistant to support the superintendent and colleagues at our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) terminal in St. Louis, MO.Job Responsibilities:Performing a full and varied array of clerical duties including data entry, copying, faxing, mailing, filing and answering a multi-line phoneData entry for Accounts Payable processing, Safety observations and other topics as assignedProcessing daily mail receipts by: sorting, opening, stamping and distributing for approvalReception of location visitorsProcessing outgoing mail to insure proper weight, postage, and appropriate documentation for all outgoing USPS itemsCoordinating the documentation for vendor Certificates of Insurance in compliance with Corporate policies and location trackingCompleting monthly Excel spreadsheets for various operating department's expenses and safety meetingsAdditional duties and responsibilities as required or requestedJob Requirements:Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of the terminal superintendentAbility to work well independently as well as part of a teamComputer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office products ( Word, Excel, Access )Proficient writing, analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively, including one on one and in front of a groupAbility to operate standard office equipment, including computers, a multi-line telephone system, calculators, copiers, and fax machinesEffective time management and multi-tasking skillsPromote the ADM Way and core ValuesCurrent Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.
