Administrative Assistant ??? Tax (part-time) The Global Finance Organization at Monsanto has an opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant to join our Tax Team on a part-time basis. This position will be work 3 days (24 hours) per week and the team is flexible on the specific days to be worked (i.e. M/W/F, M/T/Th, T/W/F). This opportunity will provide administrative support to the Domestic Tax Team and the overall St. Louis Tax Department for certain projects. This position reports to the Senior Director, Domestic Tax as is located in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate must be able to resolve problems, develop recommendations and ensure that all deadlines are met. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, handle multiple projects at once, and must be able to deal effectively with last-minute requests and changes. Applicants must have very good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well with all members of the team. Responsibilities include:Calendar and Meeting Management: Multiple busy calendars with managers who often have meetings with cross-functional attendees and outside service providers. Best candidate has proven ability to take ownership of calendars and proactively manage changes, conflicts, timing and the details, such as WebEx. Hiring Employee/Contractor Support: Provide support to managers for hiring and new employee/contractor set-up activities, including coordinating interviews and office, cube and computer requirements and network access requests.SAP Procurement Activities: The organization works with many different external service providers, so demonstrated capabilities and experience to create SAP purchase orders and process SAP service and invoice receipts is required.Processing and Distributing Mail: The tax department receives and sends many time-sensitive documents, so efficient and accurate processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail is required.Recurring office supplies management/ordering, tracking tax periodicals and paper and electronic filing.Utilizing technology to support workload: Experience with building spreadsheets and data analysis in Excel and preparing memos and other documentation in Word.Qualifications:Required skills/experience:HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferred5+ years of administrative experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Concur Expense, Meeting Room Manager.Notary certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferredExcellent communication skillsProven ability to build positive relationshipsAbility to manage competing priorities and workload through organization, prioritization and time management skills.Demonstrates initiative and foresight Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
