You will own your own work and find innovative ways to deliver on our vision of feeding the world responsibly while working along beside 15,000 people around the globe who care about you.The HR SSC Administrator will report to one of the HR SSC team leaders, and will be responsible for supporting the management of activities across benefits and pension administration, payroll and time keeping, and record keeping and reporting. This position will interface with colleagues across the organization, ranging from HR SSC peers and the broader HR community, to information technology, Agrium-wide leaders and the broader employee base. As a member of the HR SSC, the successful candidate will deliver on service priorities, seeking to constantly improve them.Key Tasks:- Provide exceptional customer service to employees from a diverse organization who are seeking additional information relevant to HR service lines, or redirecting as appropriate- Respond to HR administrator or client inquiries, primarily through phone and email channels- Support variety of projects within HR SSC, including flexibility to support different service lines during peak season- Ability to make administrative and procedural recommendations and exercise judgment on sensitive issues in alignment with corporate policy/regulation- Learn quickly and share accurate information with Agrium leaders and employees upon inquiry- Achieve mastery of HR SSC knowledge and participate in training and job shadowing of HR SSC and HR colleagues- Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as process documentation, identifying opportunities for improvement, and participating in problem solving across the HR SSC- Understand HR implications of activities across both Agriums businesses as well as the states, provinces, and countries in which it operates- Work in a team-based environment to meet objectives of the HR SSC- Safeguard employee privacy where appropriate, including confidentiality and protection of sensitive information- Maintain a broad knowledge of company policies and benefit plans In addition, as a member of the HR Record Keeping and Reporting service line, employees are expected to:- Provide Tier One technical support with the third party talent attraction application, iCIMS, which would include assisting candidates and manager with log-in assistance as necessary, managing issues with candidate profiles, communicating issues to iCIMS technical support and Talent Attraction team, troubleshooting job postings- Maintain iCIMS postings from Job Profile Template (JPT), which would entail the creating postings from the JPT, proofing of content and company branding on all postings, and working with niche websites for more unique job postings- Administer background checks, which would include initiating background checks to specified candidates within required turnaround times, monitoring progress on background checks daily to help expedite hiring decisions, and communicating with Talent Attraction team and HRBP/HRA of ambiguous background checks.- Maintain Offer Letter templates based on data/instructions provided by Talent Attraction and responding to Recruiter on timely basis with draft letters- Administer drug and alcohol scheduling, which includes initiating drug and alcohol screening appointments and monitoring progress on vendor website and communicating with Talent Attraction as necessary. – Book candidate travel as necessary, as well as understand Travel Policy to ensure consistent handling of travel arrangements- Reporting on regular basis with Talent Attraction and Sourcing leads- Utilize ServiceNow for management of cases associated with Talent Attraction- Supports HR projects as assigned TheIdeal CandidateOutside of the skills and necessary qualifications, our ideal candidate must be committed to achieving superior results with integrity and sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side others in a diverse culture.Skills:- Demonstrated self-motivation, analytical, problem solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong results and goal orientation- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, team environment. – Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers and team members.- Strong willingness to continuously improve the performance of both ones self and the SSC by continuing training, learning, recommending process improvements, etc. Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles- Strong customer-service orientation- Ability to troubleshoot and respond to client inquiries by phone and email
