Come grow with us!???General Purpose and Scope of Position:Wilbur-Ellis is seeking an Agricultural Field Services Technician to assist with various grower/customer support tasks. This position will support plant, warehouse, office and field operations. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills to professionally interact with our customers. This is a seasonal/temporary position that will provide hands-on work experience.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to operate vehicles and equipment in a safe and legal mannerProficient with MS OfficeAbility to use GPS toolsKnowledge in the set-up of various agricultural equipmentKnowledge of agricultural production and practices (beneficial)?Key Personal Attributes Include:Maintain a neat appearance and convey professionalism with customersMaintain all licenses to comply with regulatory agenciesBachelor?s Degree in agriculture or related fieldCurrent driver?s licenseMust meet standards of Company Driver?s PolicyStrong customer service orientation required with the ability to interact positively with customersWillingness to work as a team and assume any task when requestedMust be reliable and punctual when reporting to workWilling and able to work overtime when required?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Delivery and set-up of equipment to growersTake soil and plant tissue samples as needed or directed by salesContact sales staff to resolve any customer disputes that may ariseComplete daily vehicle and equipment inspections every time vehicles and/or equipment are usedKeep clean and efficient housekeeping of yard, office space, workshop, equipment, and personal vehicleAssist with customer order fulfillment including inventory management and order processingAssist with the calculation of dry and liquid fertilizer blends including work order processingAssist with scheduling and dispatch of product delivery and applicationComplete and carry all appropriate shipping documents for accurate invoicing and complianceAdditional duties as requested?Compensation and Benefits:Competitive hourly wage (to be determined based on experience and other factors)?Job Code:?FIELD03336Apply for this job.
