Agricultural Loan Collections Officer

Supervisor s Title: Director, Lending Services Position Location: Kansas City Position purpose: The position is responsible for; the development and execution of strategies to maximize the collection on problem loans; managing loan collection legal counsel relationships and costs; analyzing loan loss experience in relation to underwriting standards Principal Responsibilities: (list of the duties for which this position is responsible and weighting of importance; any duties with a weighting of more than 35% are to be divided into more narrowly descriptive duties) Weighting % Duties (what do you do)35% -Collection of past due loans through phone and written communication45% -Develop & implement actions to collect loans requiring legal process10%- Prepare management reporting on credit and collection activity10%-Manage legal counsel employed for loan collection Time Requirements: (time requirement to accomplish the duties; may be more narrowly defined than above to accurately reflect time commitment) Weighting % Duties85%- Manage loan collections10%- Prepare and publish management reporting on collection results5%-Manage legal counsel employed for loan collection Responsibility Scope: (list important measures for the position; e.g. sales, volumes, budgets, subordinates, customers, capital expenditures, expenses, transactions) Active collection activity accounts Position Qualifications: (list the knowledge, skills and abilities essential for properly functioning in this position and the additional characteristics that are desirable but not essential.
