Come grow with us!??General Purpose and Scope of Position:The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for interactions and compliance of various regulations and requirements with: Dept. of Pesticide Regulation, storm, waste and drinking water, Hazardous material and waste, and Food Safety.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to organize and structure various govt agency timelines and requirementsKnowledge of Dept. of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) lawsDemonstrated capacity to facilitate training, process development, and problem solving in a decentralized workExperience interacting with government authoritiesRequires strong computer skills including Microsoft Applications Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of JDE/similar ERP softwareAbility to present both strict and ranging interpretations of compliance?Key Personal Attributes Include:Minimal four-year DegreeExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignmentsCalifornia Pest Control Advisors License Preferred (PCA)High levels of integrityMust possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of theCapable of generating new ideas and solutions orientedAbility to build strong regulatory agency relationships?Interface Points:Enterprise Risk Management TeamEnvironmental Health and SafetyInternal and External Legal ResourcesIndustry GroupsIndustry ManagersFacilities OperationsSales OperationsExternal information Resources?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Manage DPR and Pesticide label requirements through training and notificationHazardous material and waste complianceMonitor water sample collections and submittalRepresent WECO industry associations as appropriateMonitor and establish continuous dialogue with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to stay current on enforcementEstablish and maintain permit requirement and timeline compliance matrixRespond to internal and external information requestsDevelop and maintain a Food Safety Compliance Program?Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive annual salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors)All applicable company benefits??Job Code: REGUL02846
