Agronomics and Grain Sustainability Internship
Job DescriptionThe focus of the internship is agronomy, data collection, and farm data analysis. ?Part of the internship will be spent working closely with the MBGro agronomist, assisting in field scouts, working with highly specialized farm equipment and using new state of the art agronomy programs. The intern should have a strong understanding ?farming concepts and practices specific to our Southeastern sourcing region (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia), soil sample collection and analysis, and agronomic knowledge of crops produced in the region with an emphasis on four major crops-wheat, corn, sorghum, and soybeans. The intern will have the opportunity to strengthen his or her skills and expertise regarding grain crop agronomy, nutrient optimization, and farm sustainability, productivity, and profitability.
