This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.?QUALIFICATIONS:- Agronomy degree preferred; Ag-related degrees will also be considered- CCA strongly preferred- 3 or more years in a Midwestern Agronomy Leadership role providing supervision to operations and sales personnel- Recent agronomy sales experience working with Ag chemicals, fertilizer, seed and other specialty agronomy?products- Excellent Ag grower relationship skills as well as solid business development skills- Experience with Precision Ag software such as SMS, Encirca/DuPont Pioneer or other current Ag technology products- Computer proficiency with AgVance ag chem/fertilizer software experience preferred- Agronomic use of drones a REAL PLUS??JOB DESCRIPTION:Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Kansas Ag employer in identifying a well-rounded Agronomy Manager with solid Ag Technology experience. This is a progressive Ag organization looking to remain the very best in their area. If you've had recent experience leading a successful team of agronomy sales and operations personnel at a Midwestern location and have good knowledge/understanding of Precision Ag products, our client company will want?to visit with you!Primary duties to include:- Day-to-day management of Agronomy operations and sales including oversight of 4-6 full-time personnel- Training/Developing sales team and working with them on programs, pricing, goal-setting and overall Agronomy division strategy- Ongoing communication with sales team to monitor competitive products and marketing activities- Sourcing and marketing crop protection, fertilizer, seed and Precision Ag programs to area Ag growers- Establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve organization objectives for Agronomy services and products- Monitoring/Evaluating marketing activities to adjust marketing strategies to meet changing needs of area producers- Training operations personnel including safety training and government compliance training- Serving as liaison between Ag growers and suppliers, vendors and distributors to sales staff and employees- Keeping company owners up-to-date on current marketing trends, competitor activities in the area and other agronomic information- Contributing positively to entire organization teamThis Employer offers competitive base salary, bonuses and excellent benefits program and a family-friendly work atmosphere.???ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
