Culture at Nutrien is the core of everything we do and all employees are respectful of diverse opinions and views.Reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts Receivable Analytics and Expertise, the AR Analyst, Accounts Receivable position requires a background in Analytics and Reporting with emphasis on Finance. The analyst is involved in the design and modification of business reports. The analyst must have a keen understanding of the data, its sources, and its relationship across multiple systems. This role will be involved in the design or modification of business systems and IT systems with focus on PeopleSoft, SAP, Hyland OnBase, and BizTalk. The analyst must have a keen understanding of cross-functional processes and the flow of data through systems and the interactions and impacts of the systems upon each other.Key Tasks:The analyst responds to business stakeholder needs and provides analysis, reporting and metrics The analyst acts as the primary support role for the department and cross-function processesThe analyst acts as the project lead for the department and liaison to IT, PM, and other BAsThe analyst takes on a supporting role in developing, modelling, and performing all business testingThe analyst acts as the backup systems administrator at the department levelSkills:Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skillsStrong computer skills(ERP Accounting Software, Microsoft Office-Excel & Access)PeopleSoft 9.1 and Hyland OnBase experienceCapacity to learn multiple processes and support other positionsStrong prioritization and organizational skillsHighly detail orientedProfessional imageProcess improvementAgriculture business knowledge considered an assetQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized institution – or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years accounting experience, Accounts Receivable a plusPeopleSoft Query, SAP Business Intelligence, SQL Query, Cognos Business Insight Advanced; Microsoft PowerBI is considered an assetKnowledge of accounting principles; IFRS experience is considered an assetEducation or experience in Information TechnologyNutrien is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
