Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the AP Representative Vendor Setup process vendor authorization forms to create new vendors or modify existing vendors.What you will do:Review, verify, and act on vendor authorization requests by either creating new records or maintaining existing recordsUnderstand and follow company policies and procedures on a consistent basisMaintain banking information for vendors, requiring high level of accuracy and strict confidentialityRespond to audit requests for documentationParticipate in year end 1099 and 1042 processResponsible for staying current on IRS regulations and forms to ensure company compliance with record requestsCoordinate with various stakeholders including field and vendor representativesUtilize business acumen and judgment in making decisionsMultitask in high volume environment with competing deadlinesAny other job responsibilities as required at the Company’s discretionWhat you will bring:Highly proficient in Microsoft office and general computer skillsExcellent data entry speed and accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrict attention to detail, developed problem solving skills, logical & critical thinking skills, high personal accountabilitySelf-Motivated. Ability to manage own time to achieve deadlines. Exemplary customer service skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsA High School Diploma or GED is requiredAn Associate’s Degree is preferredA minimum of 2-5 Years Accounts Payable or Accounting experience requiredPeopleSoft, BPCS, and/or large ERP experience a plusPrevious vendor master maintenance experience preferredStrong understanding of Form W9 and withholding allocations for vendor setup a plusDemonstrated knowledge in accounts payable processesAre you a good match?
