Idaho SUMMARYThe Applications Delivery Manager is theleader of a self-contained development team. That team may consist of Simplot employees, contract workforce, oroutside consultants / third parties who provide fee-for-serviceactivities.
The team is collectively responsiblefor designing effective solutions, building them, and providing the last leg ofsupport should something go wrong.
Inother words, they are the owners of the business software applications we areresponsible for. Effective leaders in this role will beable to:Manage in adversity, ambiguity, and whenthings are going rightEngage effectively with a wide varietyof personality typesInspire followership and lead by exampleUnderstand the technology were workingwithGet stuff done Responsibilities:Manages activities of individualcontributors, contingent workforce, and / or deliverables of contractedservicesApplies subject matter knowledge to helpteam solve moderate to complex business / technical issuesPlans, directs, and monitors operationalactivities of staff and drives the strategic plan for the teamEnsures team meets or enablesachievement of relevant IT commitments per stated goals and objectives.Accountable for department-specificresults, organizational strategy, and transformational activitiesResolves or leads resolution ofescalated technical and business issues successfully.Continually Improves work procedures andprocesses for areaManages conflicting priorities andallocations and escalates as appropriateCommunicates organizational businessplans and strategies and drives performance planning and reviewDemonstrates business acumen and appliesit for effective engagement with internal customersDrives change management in the team orimmediate organizationTakes personal ownership of the ITstrategy and drives support of itProvides technical leadership as well aspeople leadershipExerts influence beyond the immediateteamManage a book of business in either theJDE or SAP space Requirements:Bachelors Degree from a 4 year collegeor universityMinimum of 8 years of experienceExperience leading diverse teams to anend-state goal successfullyPeople management experience thatincludes coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actionMentoring that includes helpingindividuals move from one state of technical expertise to anotherUnderstanding of – or experience with -owning and supporting multiple business software assetsFunctional experience leading ormanaging the work of others in an ERP deploymentDeep experience in at least one ITdiscipline
software engineering, requirements analysis, solution design andprovisioning, project management, software asset supportKnowledge of
