Every roleat Corteva Agriscience includes an opportunity to grow what matters. Role SummaryWillwork closely with the IT leadership, internal teams, business/functions and ourvendors to manage the Finance application portfolio for the CortevaAgriscience division. Responsible for managing IT service providers, andthird-party contractors responsible for day-to-day operations of the FinanceApplication portfolio Key Responsibilities& Accountabilities ResponsibilitiesManage the service delivery of the Financeapplications portfolio. The portfolio may include other related applicationsas well.EstablishManaged Services model for application support for the global Financeapplication portfolio.Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a teamof highly skilled global workforce. In addition, hire and train staff, bothemployees and contingent workers globally.Incorporateoperational excellence standards into daily operations to continually improveperformance & availability.Responsible for integrated incident, change andproblem management.Responsible for communications and interfacing withinternal and external stakeholders impacted, or potentially impacted, byservice disruption, additions, changes, and/or reductions in service.Develop application-related change and releasemanagement plans in partnership with Enterprise Platforms & Applicationsteams.Plan and coordinate environment Changes in theapplication environment.Partner with IT stakeholders, end-to-end serviceintegration team and external vendors, as needed, to plan and driveimplementation of change requests impacting the portfolio.Maintain production environments includinginstallation/deployment of operating system updates, security patches,configuration changes, and application updates.Validate and ensure all software components haveenough license entitlements and maintenance contracts in place, as required forthe application.Identify and implement service improvements andprocess improvements.Ensure the audit requirements and processes arefollowed strictly and represent the application, if selected for audit.Implement and monitor controls defined by the internal controls standardsmanual.   Responsible for disaster recovery and businesscontinuity planning.Responsible for 24×7 365 application availability.Responsible for application lifecycle management incollaborating with the Enterprise Platforms group and the Enterprise architectsfor large upgrades, App decommissioning etc.AccountabilitiesApplicationservice level targets (e.g., availability, performance) met or exceededTimelyinvestigation and resolution of Application issues through coordination withUser Support teamsQualificationsKey Competencies RequiredTechnical CompetenciesExtensiveknowledge of enterprise applications and the supported business processesAbilitylearn and upskill on new technologies, processes and applicationsExperienceworking with Vendors, product roadmaps and support lifecyclesUnderstandingof ITIL processesSoundknowledge of the SAP BPC domain including good understanding of theConsolidation model.Strongapplication support experience and management of global teamsGoodknowledge of leading practices within the month end close and consolidationprocessGoodunderstanding of accounting principles in terms of consolidation and financialstatements (Balance sheets, Profit and Loss statements etc.)Experienceacross R/3, ECC, S/4 HANAExperiencewith GL reporting and reconciling Leadership CompetenciesWorkwith cross-functional global teamsManageexternally contracted vendor resourcesStrongverbal and written communication skillsKnowledgeand Understanding of Internal ControlsLead/Manage the transition
from projects to production support teamAbility to manage vendor relationships and handleescalations as needed.Strong experience with prioritizing needs of thebusiness Experience &Education RequiredOverall10+yrs of IT experience, At least 5 -10 years of relevant Technicalconfiguration experience with specialization in SAP Finance, FICO and SAPBusiness Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC), along with SAP bolt onapplications for finance.Experiencein application support and management of global teamsBachelorsdegree in Finance or Accounting required.
