YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Area Sales Manager III, are to:
The primary responsibility of the Area Sales Manager III (ASM) is to develop, plan, and implement sales initiatives aimed at maintaining and increasing business in the Golf and Landscape markets located in North Carolina, South Carolina and Bryan and Chatham counties in Georgia;
Build & Maintain relationship with the distribution network as well as with key end-user accounts in the assigned territory;
Drive the external sales force (e.g. agents/distributor reps) to create value for Bayer range of product;
Create and present the product line review to the customers and end users in the area;
Provide the high level of technical product training and support to the key customers and end users';
Manage customer complaints and inquiries within area with support from regional sales managers.
WHO YOU ARE
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, or relevant discipline with 7 years of relevant industry experience or non-degreed 10 years of relevant industry experience;
Excellent presentation and selling skills, including use of support software;
High capacity to define priorities and to allocate his/her time resources;
Good computer skills and the ability to work with MS programs (Word, Excel, Outlook,PowerPoint, etc.) and other database programs;
Possessing the ability to travel as needed, including approximately 40-50% overnight travel.
