This includes strong wages ($22.00-$28.00/hr. based onexperience), a generous 401k match, health and dental insurance, 15 days ofvacation, a variable bonus plan, and much more!  Inthis role, you will lead, coordinate, and work in all activities of PlantOperations Technicians in multiple production, warehouse, field, and logisticareas on a single shift to ensure that the production goals areaccomplished.  Area Team Leads also perform the duties of ProductionOperation Technicians when needed and as directed.  You will encourage andenforce safe operations onsite, while also fostering harmonious communicationswithin the shift and between shifts.  Your assignments will vary based on seasonalneeds.  Never encounter a boring day when you work with us. Our activitiesand tasks vary with the agricultural season cycle!  Duringpeak season (September-April) the Cherokee production plant runs a 24/6 or 24/7schedule based on demand. Shift hours can be 8 to 12 hours depending on whichschedule is utilized. Then we stagger down shifts the remaining months of theyear. AreaTeam Leads are responsible, but not limited to, the following duties:  Monitor product quality and ensure activities meet the
requirements Ensure operator Preventative Maintenance is completed Provide input and assistance to Production Shift
Supervisors Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents,
or reports Review production schedules Recommend and implement measures to improve
productivity, performance, product quality, methods, working conditions,
and efficiencies Provide regular coaching and feedback to include daily
on-the-job coaching Analyze and resolve problems to assist workers in
finding solutions Work with other leaders to coordinate workflow and
coordinate allocation of resources between shifts and departmentsQualifications:The following are required: High School diploma or GED and
two years or more of related work experience Willing and able to work in a
variety of areas (plant, warehouse) Willing and able to climb
and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods Willing and able to work both
outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions Willing and able to lift up to
50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or
repetitive lifting Willing and able to work shift
work including weekends and nights and overtime to meet production demands
as needed Basic computer skills Good verbal and interpersonal
communication skills Teamwork skillsThe following are preferred: Associate?s or Bachelor's
degree Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing
principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work SAP or related software
experience WMS system experience Demonstrated ability to lead
people and processesPrevious fork lift experience
