Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) principles.
Position Responsibilities * Fill, cap, label and package liquid vaccine products * Inspect packaging components and finished products for accuracy and quality * Perform line clearance * Comply with cGMP practices * Demonstrate good housekeeping practices * Perform material handling with hand and powered moving equipment * Comply with all safety programs and procedures * Perform minor maintenance on filling and/or packaging equipment * Inform Team Leader of shop floor issues, concerns and possible solutions * Work with maintenance and engineering to improve equipment reliability and efficiency * Prepare and sterilize (autoclave) equipment and components to support daily processes * Prepare intermediate and shipping containers for product packaging * Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality * Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader Education and Experience * High School Diploma, Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred. * Job grade entry level commensurate to prior experience Technical Skills and competenciesMinimum qualifications include: * Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions * Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Ability to effectively use basic math applications (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) * Ability to document accurately and legibly using cGMP principles * Ability to visually identify minute flaws in quality (e.g. print, physical appearance, alignment, color variation)Preferred qualifications include: * Demonstrated technical understanding with at least 1 key piece of equipment or departmental work area * Proficient in aseptic technique * General departmental knowledge and experience * Minimum of 2 years departmental experience Physical Position Requirements * Ability to work flexible hours with occasional overtime * Ability to routinely lift 20-50 pounds * Constant periods of standing
