A large and well-known livestock company is looking for a Plant Manager for a facility in Texas. This would initially be an Assistant Plant Manager for the first 12 months. The current Plant Manager has done such a good job that he is going to be promoted in the next year. They want to get somebody in place now as a succession plan. This location is a little bit older and the company is either going to invest a large amount of money to renovate the facility or build a completely new plant. This company likes to promote from within so there will be immediate and constant advancement opportunity within the company. If you want to work your way up the corporate ladder, this is a great place to start.Assistant Plant Manager Job Description:
* Hire, manage and lead a manufacturing team of 15 individuals * Oversee facility that runs 2 shifts, 5 days a week * Improve and streamline processes * Oversee OSHA, HACCP and safety programs * Increase production of a complete feed manufacturing facilityAssistant Plant Manager Qualifications:
