This position is HQ-based in Parsippany, NJ or in our Durham, NC office serving the learning needs of one or more of our US Zoetis business units. This position will work closely with the Training & Curriculum Manager to assist in developing and executing on business strategies.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES This position will work with subject matter experts in sales, marketing and veterinary professional services to explore business needs and opportunities, identify performance gaps and root causes, recommend applicable training interventions, implement solutions, and measure outcomes. This position will also work with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials for sales professionals (New Hire Training, National Sales Meetings, and Plan of Action meetings)
* Works with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials for sales professionals (New Hire Training, National Sales Meetings, and Plan of Action meetings) * Assists in conducting needs assessments to determine if a learning solution is needed * Assists in definition of scope of ID projects * Suggests standards for design and format of learning solution * Isolates Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge for course development * Develops deliverables such as Workshops, Leader”s Guides, Participant Guides, Job Aids, Online Modules * Leverages learning technology to design, develop, and implement learning solutions (familiarity with Articulate Storyline preferred) * Manages projects with assistance * Develops deliverables such as Workshops, Leader”s Guides, Participant Guides, Job Aids, Online Modules * Leverages learning technology to design, develop, and implement learning solutions (familiarity with Articulate Storyline preferred) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor”s Degree or equivalent (Instructional Design or Instructional Technology preferred) or experience and training in ID design principles. * Minimum of 3 years” experience working in a business setting within a Learning and Development Organization * Demonstrated ability to assist in the design of learning solutions * Demonstrated ability in applying the ISD Model * Demonstrated ability in applying adult learning principles * Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers * Manages vendor/learning supplier relationships * Communicates project status to management and business leads * TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS * (Instructional Design or Instructional Technology preferred) or experience and training in ID design principles. * Storyline, Captivate and Adobe Connect experience. * Multimedia Experience- video editing- Micro Learning Development * Podcast Development Competency
