Associate Financial Credit Analyst
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Energy division with our Energy/Crop Nutrients Credit group for an Associate Financial Credit Analyst.
You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to question and maintain positive customer relationships.
You must have proven ability to utilize strong negotiation and diplomacy skills, excellent attention to detail and a strong numerical aptitude.
You will:Investigate and perform financial analysis of assigned accounts including the interpretation of customer financial statements.Assist and/or manage accounts with low to moderate credit risk.Review and interpret customer financial statements and input results into credit scoring model.Recommend the appropriate level of credit extension and any security required.Contact customers on delinquent receivables to enhance company cash flow.Research and resolve customer questions and inquiries.Create various weekly and monthly management reports using Microsoft Excel.Prepare daily bank deposits.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldUp to 2 years work experience in: Accounting, Finance, Credit, Banking or related fieldsCredit and financial analysis experience to include reading and interpreting customer financial statementsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordPreferred qualifications: (desired)Experience with JD Edwards 9.0 or SAP operating systemExperience with eCredit software or other credit software systems
