The Global Business Services settlement department has an opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a team that offers a variety of responsibilities and challenges.
The Settlement area is responsible for maintaining Export accounts for multiple ADM locations and outside trade customers.
This includes all transactional responsibilities related to contracting, payment, and invoicing of corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, and soybean meal, along with all freight, brokerage and demurrage transactions.
A strong candidate will be a team player, enjoys problem solving and works well with internal and external customers.
Develop knowledge of grain, soybean meal, freight, brokerage and demurrage settlement practices and proceduresDemonstrate strong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skills, adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.Possess a proven track record of being dependable, reliable, able to meet strict deadlines, and a strong desire to help others including internal and external clientsGood organizational skills with the ability to function in a collaborative team environmentKnowledge of ADM Accounting Systems including Agris, J.D. Edwards, OPGO/FCGO/PCGO, A/P, and A/R preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic understanding of NGFA Trade Rules preferred An Associate?s degree in Accounting or Business is preferredMinimum of three years of ADM experience or equivalent is preferredWorking Knowledge of Agris, J.D. Edwards, OPGO/FCGO/PCGO and MS Office suite is preferred
