Batch Operator 2nd Shift (Operator I) ? Effingham, ILADM Animal NutritionThis is an hourly position. Position Summary: The Batch Operator is responsible for running the batching computer for the facility.
Details duties are as follows:
Sequence the daily mixing and clean outs for the shiftEnsure the system has fully cleaned out to prevent cross contamination between productsEnsure the correct hand adds are put in the right productsRead all comments on batch mixing instructions (BMI)Check the micro card located on each micro tub and check for accuracyMake sure the proper micro tubs are placed by the correct mixer for the cut-in groupOperate the liquid hand add systemUnderstand and use the Oracle System as well as other databasesEnsure the area is kept cleanOther duties as assigned by management
Must be available to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends, as needed. Job Requirements: Individuals must be mechanically included to troubleshoot equipment and process problemsMust be detail oriented, have proven computer proficiency, and have the ability to read and perform basic math calculationsMust have proficiency in all areas of mixing, nano room and micro roomExperience in a manufacturing environment with prior experience driving a forklift preferredStrong safety aptitude and work ethic and promotes the ADM Way and Core Values Physical Requirements: Ability to climb stairs and be exposed to elevated heights on an occasional basisAbility to lift and carry up to 65 lbs. on an occasional basisAbility to sit and stand for long periods of timeAbility to safely operate a utility knifeWork in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, and a dusty work environment This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life, and dental insurance.
