?Job DescriptionBilingual Production Trainer Sow Production-2 positions- WWPP Flow (rural Mercer County) && West Side Flow (rural Daviess County) E08 REPOSTDESCRIPTION: ?The Production Trainer is concentrated on performance improvement through championing on-farm processes and focusing on reducing variation in our production system through appropriate training and employee development. Primarily responsibilities in Sow Operations, this position will be assigned to conduct new hire onboard training and conduct certifications with employees.Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:Manages onboarding training documentation, including payroll, employee transfer and certifications, etc., and is responsible for disseminating on a routine basis.Reviews and evaluates onboarding trainees based on competency to perform assigned duties during training.Provides feedback and coaching to onboard trainees as they acclimate to the businessCoordinates with Human Resources and production staff as needed to place onboard graduatesTrains utilizing the Tell-Show-Do and Situational Leadership methodologiesCompletes employee certifications as requiredAssists in the preparation and presentation of sow production training materials and training initiativesManages documentation and associated paperwork on certifications, including entry in databaseCommunicates frequently with and provides support to Production LeadersTrains according to SOP's and training materials that are aligned with SOP's, with focus on helping employees develop the technical skills needed to produce results and meet sow production targetsOwns the updating of training materials and SOP's, including recognizing when updates are needed, organizing and completing training on the updates, and implementing associated changesConducts training one-on-one and in group situations; conducts training on farms and in classroom environmentsQUALIFICATIONS: ?Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, both in writing and orally.?Qualified candidates must understand and embrace Continuous Improvement methodology, have the ability to evaluate performance of others, and maintain commitment to SOP's and process integrity.?Meeting qualifications for PQA certification, maintain that certification, and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record. ?Candidates must possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, a proven history of handling sensitive and confidential information, excellent organization skills, advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and be disciplined in their approach to work and comfortable with routine work. ?It is also necessary to have experience in effectively working with the Internet, LCD's and other audio-visual equipment, cameras, etc., as well as the ability to write documents using a technical writing approach. ?A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.A minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent of 2-3 years of related work experience, OR a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related work experience. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in sow or grow finish production.Apply for this job.
