Bilingual Human Resource Specialist

In this role, the selected candidate will assist with the creation and management of job requisitions, application screening and processing interviewing, hiring and on-boarding candidates. Additionally, the Bilingual HR Specialist will work closely with employee engagement, conflict resolution and the development and facilitation of talent development plans.Key job responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:Be friendly, positive, helpful, team-oriented and respectful to employees, management and customers. Communication happens in a variety of avenues so there is a need to be comfortable effectively communicating by phone, email and in person. There will be many different people to meet and work with as this position requires the specialist to work with a diverse population, so a positive attitude, overall friendliness, compassion for and understanding of people is a must. The person in this position must be genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, and the company s customers. A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company s policies, programs, and systems.This person must be able to multi-task and handle stressful situations in a busy office atmosphere. Thus, they must demonstrate effective time management, prioritization, initiative, organization, and dependability. Computer literacy is important with competencies in Excel, Word, Internet Explorer and knowledge or experience navigating social media. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. If the job involves managing others, following up carefully, closely, and cheerfully is required to ensure both correct work and maintenance of the relationships. Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly. This person must be comfortable working independently while still effectively communicating and collaborating as a team.Physical requirements while performing the duties of this job; include the employee being able to lift up to 40 pounds, as well as pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand, have the ability to sit for long period of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, controls, or office machines. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The environment the employee will be working in is a climate-controlled office with hazards typical to that environment; however, specialist will be required at times to shower in and assist at production farm facilities.
