Position Summary: The Billing and Settlement Lead will act as a supervisor of the billing and settlement team, providing leadership, problem solving, and execution of the billing and settlements processes for ADM Trucking.
This position will ensure timely and accurate billing of freight moved by ADM Trucking.
The settlement lead will also ensure accurate miles and pay tasks are entered for driver pay.
They will manage resources such as team members, reports and systems in order to meet driver and business needs. Job Responsibilities:
Ensure delivered loads are billing the correct party for the correct amountDocument and develop process changes; including recommending changes and execution of process improvementsWork with third party customers to receive payment on delinquent accountsWork with Accounting to reconcile business unit revenues and load countReview driver settlements including trips, miles, pay tasks and pay ratesCommunicate with Driver Managers and drivers to settle any discrepancies or misunderstandingsDevelop system knowledge of software (McLeod) within teamAssist team with questions and inquires on processes and exceptionsUtilize imaging software to ensure all documents are attached to the appropriate loadTroubleshoot data problems by reviewing load information, correcting or reentering as needed; follow up with dispatchers and driver managers to get incomplete or missing dataEnter updated billing rates, pay rates and pay tasks as needed Job Requirements:
Prior success in Customer Service or TransportationExcellent verbal communication skills are required with emphasis on telephone communicationsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Filing, keyboarding operations, and working on the telephone is requiredA college degree is preferred Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
