Over an eighteen to twenty-four month time frame, successful candidates will receive regionally based cross functional exposure to a number of Bunges business units while performing various operational functions. Trainees will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of operational and commercial processes.Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be placed into a full time position (Crush supervisor, refined oil Supervisor, Maintenance manager, Safety coordinator, Elevator Superintendent, etc.) that complements both the needs of the company and the employees strengths.Essential FunctionsTrainees will participate fully in the day to day physical operation of a Bunge facility to understand fundamental operations and processes.Develop a thorough understanding of operational and commercial processes.Trainees will, from time to time, demonstrate their level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or the program manager.Trainees may for a period of time be required to travel to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes.Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions and will communicate findings to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion.Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and co-workers.Skill/Experience RequirementsEngineering, Technical, Ag Mechanization, Ag Systems Management or similar degreeGood problem solving skills and mechanical aptitudeAbility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant changeExceptional verbal and written communication skillsMust be well organized, goal oriented and self-directedStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency in standard PC applicationsStandard work hours 8 AM – 5 PM subject to adjustment as required by assignmentWillingness to relocate for future growth opportunities is requiredBunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
