Boiler Maintenance Mechanic (FG-Moses Lake, WA)

We currently have a Boiler Maintenance Mechanic position available at our Food Group in Moses Lake, WA.
Summary This position is responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment, including air compressors, in the Boiler/Refrigeration system.
Ensures the operation of the Boiler/Refrigeration system is conducted efficiently and safely in cooperation with the process and packaging team leaders to achieve operational goals.
Ensures the efficient operation of all equipment (including air compressors) in the Boiler/Refrigeration area by using preventative maintenance & troubleshooting techniques. Also ensures that all equipment overhauls, repairs, installations or modifications are completed in a timely manner and comply with industry standards & codes as related to safety & quality
Ensures the upkeep & accuracy of data reporting systems such as Mapcon, refrigeration logs and boiler logs.
Conducts inspection on the fire sprinkler system and CO2 systems as required.
Performs ARC, MIG, TIG, and Acetylene cutting and welding in a safe and correct manner when repairing and fabricating equipment.
Must have a minimum of two years education/experience in refrigeration systems operation and maintenance or equivalent as approved by the boiler/refrigeration area supervisor and department manager.
Must have a minimum of two years education/experience in boiler systems operation and maintenance or equivalent education as approved by the boiler/refrigeration area supervisor and department manager.
Must be able to read, interpret and communicate effectively with all levels of factory personnel. Examples of this would be as follows: Written instructions, manufacturers manuals, material safety data sheets, engineering drawings, logs, work orders and any other company documents relevant to safe operations. Must also be able to effectively utilize written logbooks, plant computer system(s), maintenance work order and supply checkout procedures.
