Come grow with us!??General Purpose and Scope of Position:The role of the Branch Manager is to oversee the agribusiness operations at the Grand Forks, ND location including field sales, management of personnel, operational oversight, and financial results. The Branch Manager will coordinate all support resources for the branch to ensure compliance with Wilbur-Ellis safety, regulatory, credit and other policies and will be key in developing and implementing programs to establish Wilbur-Ellis as a leading provider of agronomic products.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to work independently with minimum supervisionProficient in all Microsoft office applicationsMinimum of five years? experience in the agriculture business with demonstrated track record in sales and marketing or retail branch managementBachelor?s degree or higher in Agriculture or Business related field is preferred?Key Personal Attributes Include:Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to small and large groups with an ability to lead and influenceDetail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyGood interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish relationships with branch personnel, peers and customers?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Responsible for managing agribusiness operations at the Grand Forks, ND location including; but not limited to, field sales, management of personnel, operational oversight, and financial resultsManagement oversight of the branchEstimate 60% of time will be spent performing sales duties with key grower customersCoordinate all support resources for the branch to ensure compliance with Wilbur Ellis safety, regulatory, credit and other policiesDevelop and implement programs to establish Wilbur Ellis as a leading provider of agronomic productsIdentify key grower customers, understand their business, determine their needs and develop plans and actions to meet needs with appropriate sales solutionsCommunicate with Area Manager on initiatives, objectives, strategies, and action plansUtilize Operations support resources including fertilizer, value added nutrition, branded products, seed and PPP purchasing to maximize sales opportunities with grower customersResponsible for budgeting, forecasting, analysis and communication of the financial performance objectives for the branchResponsible for following credit policies and managing risk for the companyIdentify and communicate growth opportunities through new market developmentDevelop an annual business plan that optimizes growth and profitability for the branchUtilize the VPIP program and WEperform to establish measurable and challenging goals for sales and branch personnelImplement marketing and sales plans, establish and meet sales goals, and network with suppliers and industry representatives to expand market opportunities?Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive annual salary (determined based on experience and other factors)Comprehensive employee health and retirement benefit offerings??COMPANY CULTURE ?Wilbur-Ellis is a company you can be proud to call your employerWilbur-Ellis markets and distributes agricultural products, animal feed and specialty chemicals and food ingredients.
