For more information about our company General Purpose and Scope of Position:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who can gather important company data and compile it into reports that shareholders and senior management can use. This individual will work closely with the CBC President on projects related to strategic planning, business plans and business results analysis. Our ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that will be used to understand and manage the business. This individual should be able to take charge of a project and see it to completion with minimal supervision. This position offers the candidate an exciting opportunity to work on a day-to-day basis with the President to manage the business and ensure it achieves its strategic goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:Provide business support to the CEO.Prepare reports and PowerPoints for senior management and board presentations.Track decisions at meetings, make sure appropriate individuals are assigned follow-up tasks and that the tasks are accomplished.Identify, analyze, and monitor topics that affect company revenues, profitability, and other key performance measures. Use data and findings to create straightforward, understandable tables, graphs, and written reportsIdentify key market trends and issues. Draw from Country Managers, Regional Marketing Heads and industry sources to collect data about customers, competitors, and market conditions for analysis and interpretation.Monitor the impact of company initiatives and plans on sales and profitability.Lead ad-hoc projects as appropriate. Experience and knowledge in Chemistry are highly desired. Financial analysis skills are also valuable. Insight and interest in international business trends, particularly in Asia PacificExperience with strategic planning and forecastingStrong analytical skills. Adept at using Excel for analysisBusiness and marketing analysis skills including the ability to interpret information with insight and intelligence.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work effectively in teams, diverse group, international cultures, and new environments.Fluency in English Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
