This position opening is in the COE Tech Group for a Business Analyst.
The Tech Group develops reports, automates business processes, and provides technical support for our programs and government regulated issues.
We also provide support for State and Federal auditors, Ernst and Young, and our own Internal Audit department.
The successful candidate will be exposed to and involved with several accounting and commercial groups.
Daily tasks will include balancing trading vs general ledger, administrative support of programs, monitoring locations for compliance of ADM policies and practices, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Support will also take the form of defining system changes for the IT Department to address new initiatives and performing user acceptance testing to validate the expected results. Experience: An Associate?s degree in Accounting, Business, or Information Technology is required.Minimum of two years of ADM experience or equivalent is necessary.Job Requirements: Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skills are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing work environmentA proven track record of being dependable, reliable, meet strict deadlines, and a strong desire to help othersEffective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interface with various levels of office and customer clientsGood organizational skills with the ability to function in a team environmentProficient with reporting and data query toolsExperience or Training with SQL statements and SQL tools Experience or Training with scripting tools such as PowerShell a plus
Training in C# or Visual Basic (VBA) a plusAccounting Knowledge a plus Overnight travel approximately 5%Responsibilities: Assist location personnel with established policies and procedures.Consult application support personnel as needed when researching and finding the preferred solution.Test and review the results of programming changes and enhancements to ensure the desired results are achieved.Answer daily system support questions via telephone or e-mail.
