The Business?Analyst will assist in providing recommendations and executing plans for addressing the identified needs including but not limited to process improvement, training users, and communicating with vendors of IMS business software and business applications.?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Works with Business & Project Manager to consult with management at retail divisions, member cooperatives, and in GROWMARK departments to research and evaluate complex business systems to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies?in operational and business processes.Evaluates options for meeting data and analytics needs of management and users, ensuring that system and process requirements are identified, prioritized, and incorporated to successfully capture the necessary data points. ??Provides support on implementation of data and analytics solutions, including data validation and troubleshooting.?Assists in developing policies and procedures to meet business needs, yet also provides controls for management. Communicates with management to establish training and maintain documentation which resolves problems and encourages a proactive role to prevent problems.?Acts as a liaison between IMS and specific business software vendors to communicate and prioritize request for enhancements, programming, and bug tracking. Validates the enhancements once deployed, following up with additional feedback if necessary.?Consults and collaborates with subject matter experts within the GROWMARK/FS System to understand the existing infrastructure, processes, business systems, and B2B connections as they relate to our project goals and roadmap.?Assists in driving towards solutions by aligning project to allocated resources, reporting project status to management, tracking test results, and performing project reviews with stakeholders.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Create and present project presentations and facilitate meetings with management.Simultaneously manage multiple assignments with high levels of complexity.?Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.?REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a college degree in information systems, accounting, business, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate basic aplications and working knowledge to provide computer software recommendations and leadership to agri-business.?Prefer an understanding and experience with computer services-related areas including computer system trends and direction, general accounting, agri-business, and energy business.?Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK customized IMS Application software including Agvance, FBS, wEBS and its interfaces with assigned applications and understanding of software and hardware design and integration.?Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.?Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills and the ability to read and interpret technical material.?Proven leadership and team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.??Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary.?Must have the ability to obtain a passport to travel outside the US.?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
