Business Analyst/ELN Data Manager – #01S7G
We are seeking a Business Analyst ??? ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) Data Manager with experience in the life sciences such as Molecular Biology, Protein Biochemistry, Chemistry, etc. The top candidate will leverage their background in life science and data management to enable Regulatory Scientists to structure and analyze data efficiently to meet project timelines. In Regulatory Sciences, the Data Science & Analytics team works directly with our company???s scientists to develop software applications that enable these research and development efforts.Key Responsibilities: Understanding business workflows and business processes to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to translate them into workable data requirements. Utilizing strong analytical and management skills to proactively communicate and collaborate with customers on business data needs. Gathering requirements from laboratory subject matter experts Gaining alignment with internal stakeholders Developing electronic forms for laboratory users Generating documentation around development work as necessary Training laboratory users in the use of custom forms Interacting with multi-disciplinary groups including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Electronic Systems, and IT Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of Bachelor???s degree in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related field Prior development experience with IDBS E-WorkBook Suite or other electronic notebook systems Experience working in a regulated environment (GxP) Advanced Excel experience including forms and macros Strong written and oral communication and organization skills, with a proven ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, precise, and actionable manner Proven ability to interact with diverse people and teams and continually build partnerships Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects through positive cross-functional interactions Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; managers and subject matter experts Working knowledge of SQL queries and Web services Desired Skills/Experience:PhD or Master???s in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related field Prior experience with Excel VBA and Pivot TablesPrevious experience independently supporting complex projects or workflows through the fulfillment of user or stakeholder requirements Prior experience programming in R and/or Python languages Prior experience working in GLP, GMP, and/or ISO Prior experience with machine learning and/or predictive analytics Prior experience working in a global organization and/or matrix environmentBayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
