Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future Business Development Manager ? trinamiX (1803766) The Business Development Manager will lead the Regional trinamiX activities under the umbrella of BASF Corp. This is an exciting chance to start a regional branch from scratch and to work in a dynamic market and company environment with an enthusiastic teamYou will work with the Head of Business Development on business development topics and strategies and will also work with the Managing Director regarding organizational topics. In this role you will be responsible for Key account management for US-based customers of trinamiX. You will work to initiate, cultivate and develop customer relationships and work to convince customers to implement trinamiX technology into their products. This role will entail developing a customer focused strategic go-to-market approach for new business opportunities, including creating sound business plans.  You will be responsible for pressure-testing the developed plans through industry experts from own network to determine feasibility of concept and implementing the strategy by coordinating necessary internal actions as well as customer acquisition. You will also be involved with the development of the regional organization in order to match the growth of business. In this role you will have strong interaction with the trinamiX management team, however, main focus of attention will be directed towards business development with potential high-value customers of trinamiX. Where the Chemistry Happens? –    Working independently to ensure comprehensive project management with project leadership-    Identify new market opportunities-    Connecting link between market and development with understanding for both-    Evaluation and Assessment of the ideas in terms of feasibility and importance, taking into account and respecting corporate strategy and business development-    Develop and implement business models-    Conduct contract negotiations according to a defined framework of action independently and bring them to a successful conclusion-    Customer acquisition and care of contacts-    Responsible for the market development including the corresponding marketing strategy-    Responsible for regional activities of trinamiX (?local trinamiX organization?) Ingredients for Success? ?       Use your Educational degree with proven track record in new business development and 10+ years of relevant sales experience in a related Technology venture and/or industry to create and implement the Business Development strategy for trinamiX and analyze market requirements for sensing technology and market trends for the US region?        Use your strong professional network in relevant industries and high interest in conceptual work of business strategies and go-to-market concepts to drive and bring strategies to life in the marketplace for consumer markets.  Ideally you will bring experience & established network in sensing for enterprise as well as consumer market and use that to successfully acquire customers for our 3D sensing technology.?         Self-driven and willing to take responsibility in a broad area of activity?         Keen perception of complex technical topics, with strengths in project management?         Very good communication and presentation skills, ability to collaborate for achievement with key internal and external teams and stakeholders?         Deep knowledge of the market and technology, with strong customer focus?         Very creative and innovative, able to act with entrepreneurial drive?         Ability to  help grow and develop a team with success and to achieve greater personal success through quality people development, coaching, and performance management.  This position can be based in and around any of the noted locations with travel required for business development purposes. Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer YouAdding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
