The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise that enable a team working on multiple Custom Business Intelligence projects within our Business Intelligence & Analytics practice to thrive and succeed. This position can be located in any Global IT hub in NA, SA, EMEA or APAC.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer.
In this role you will be a team member of a fast paced Business Intelligence team delivering business intelligence and data warehouse solutions for a diverse set of internal customers. The ETL Developer should have a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data quality, master data management, data governance, data modeling and other data services related to business intelligence systems. Additional responsibilities of this role will include the following:Deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and in a way that accomplishes project goalsAble to work on simultaneous projects without sacrificing deliveryIdentify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within differing situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily workPrepare and present ideas & recommendations to colleagues and managementHands-on development, architecture and expertise with tools in the Oracle product suiteDocument source-systems through data models, data definitions and naming conventionsProvide fit-gap recommendations to team when designing solutions to new requirementsLoad data into data structures using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, Microsoft Integration Services, Oracle Golden Gate, Informatica, TSQL or similar ETL toolCommunicate effectively with business and IT colleaguesWork with data warehouse and data integration teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data warehouse solutionsWork closely with Reporting Architects to design best in class data and reporting solutionsRequirements and QualificationsBachelor?s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field7+ years of business/technology work experience5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutionsWorking knowledge of BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data integration best practicesWorking knowledge of the Oracle Business Intelligence product suiteUnderstands and can navigate complex multi-dimensional business source-systemsSkills and AbilitiesMotivated, demonstrates initiative and leadershipAble to critically think and be solution-orientedStrong interpersonal skills and able to work easily with client personnelWorks well independently and within a teamGreat organizational, time management and problem-solving skillsPossesses a professional demeanorEducational Requirements:4-year Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or another related degree of studyTechnical Competencies:Strong understanding and experience of ODI and Oracle BI Enterprise Edition with solid understanding in related ERP data model and data architectures (JD Edwards preferred)Provide technical leadership to members of the BI team to deliver on-time, on-cost, and with qualityExperience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, expert level of SQL, and working knowledge of ETL and ELT approach, design, and implementationHyperion experience is a plusRelocation assistance is available with this position.
