DescriptionRole SummaryReporting tothe Global Commercial IT Leader, the IT Business Partner for the GlobalCommercial Effectiveness (Sales & Marketing) organization will act as thesingle point of accountability to this team on behalf of IT. S/he will adviseand support business leaders in setting the technology strategy needed to meetbusiness challenges and achieve their larger business objectives. S/he willdevelop business strategic roadmaps that lay out the technology priorities andtimelines and serve as a basis for translation into requirements to bedelivered. S/he will manage the IT investment portfolio in a transparent mannerto the business and be accountable for overall delivery of major programs andthe associated investment outcomes. S/he will becomfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly matrix environment,developing a strategy for the organization and a roadmap to achieve strategicgoals.  KeyResponsibilities & AccountabilitiesDevelop andnurture productive, strategic relationships with business stakeholdersDefine the ITvision, strategy, and metrics, aligned to business strategyServe as theaccountable liaison to the business organization for all technology-relatedmattersPartner withbusiness leaders on ITs business strategic roadmaps and target statedefinitionsProvidefinancial diligence; manage IT investment portfolio efficiently and withinguidanceDrivetransformational change and a culture of innovation and agility; implementapplicable enterprise platforms and applicationsDelivercommitted outcomes of all IT capabilities leveraged by the businessDrivetechnology risk management for the business organizations (e.g., strongcybersecurity); proactively manage risk and compliance to regulatory standardsProvide thoughtleadership with regards to technology trends and their impact on the businesssegment
maintain relationships within segment, the enterprise, and theindustry; influence Corteva ITs overall technology directionUp to 30%travel requiredQualificationsPosition RequirementsThe successfulcandidate should be an expert at building relationships with business leadersand addressing business needs with technology thinking. S/he must havecapabilities in developing business strategic roadmaps as well as successfullyowning the outcomes to meet business objectives.  S/he must possess a blend of hands-ontechnical ability with proven business strategic capability. Ideally, thisperson will have worked in a growth environment and have experienceprioritizing technology initiatives to align with business strategy. S/heshould have 10+ years of experience in a combination of information technologyand business strategy jobs.Proven trackrecord in driving business strategy with technology innovationExperience instrategic decision making and successful influencing on leadership levelExperience inmanaging relationships with business stakeholders and earning a seat at thetable to actively engage business leaders and shape future policies andstrategiesExperience withroadmap ownership, use case creation, strategy developmentExperiencebuilding and communicating business plans and associated capability roadmaps,as well as being able to provide technology insights required for deliveryFinancialacumen to support business case creation and measurementAbility to bemore than an order taker for the business – must stimulate, surface and shapebusiness demandExperience inIT portfolio management and business investments managementSuperiorcommunication skills, both verbal and writtenFamiliaritywith farming and/or agriculture strongly preferred, but not requiredExperience inSales & Marketing (Commercial) IT roles or Sales & Marketing Functionalroles strongly preferredExperience inchange implementation planning and managementTechnicalRequirementsExperience withSales & Marketing technologies preferred (CRM, Digital Marketing, etc.)Experience andEducation Requirements10+ years of ITand business experience with increasing levels of leadership responsibilityBachelorsdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,Engineering, or related field.*LI-MA1
