Business Process & Data Analyst
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Finance Shared Services Data Governance group. We are looking for a Business Process & Data Analyst to provide stewardship for master data by enforcing the global data governance design for Business Partner, customer, vendor and other data governance processes. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and the ability to work independently with strong analytical skills with attention to detail. You will:Manage the ongoing queue of requests for customer and vendor master data ensuring that all requests are valid, accurate and completed within the service level agreements.Effectively communicate with business data stewards and specialists to resolve data management conflicts and train on master data standards, definitions, processes and tools.Monitor metrics to ensure master data requests are completed according to service level agreements.Analyze data governance processes with a continuous improvement mindset.Monitor and improve data quality by initiating corrective actions identified through performing root cause analysis.Manage data cleansing projects with business data stewards and specialists.Collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues with data governance tools and on technology enhancements to improve the data governance and data quality monitoring processesInvestigate and resolve data incidents in a timely manner.Analyze the impact of process change requests to master data definition, existing system data and alignment to the enterprise data governance strategy.Collaborate with business, project and technical subject matter experts to identify, analyze and document data migration transformation rules and data cleansing rules from legacy source systems.Facilitate, support and train business subject matter experts on data cleansing procedures for SAP and legacy systems.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor's degree3 year's experience in Data Management, Accounting & Finance, Sales, Procurement or CreditKnowledge of data governance or data management practicesPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Master?s degree in Business, Information Systems or related fieldKnowledge of System life-cycle Development concepts.Direct experience with SAP in a data management or related role.
